VICTORY Junior Football Q/F Bound News: results

Atu Galway and ATU Sligo battled it  for a place in their championship quarter final. 
With both teams coming with ambition ATU S secured over ATU G a lead in the first half leaving them with 0-9 ATU S to 0-7 ATU G.

The second half saw a tactical shift. ATU G  tightened their defensive structure, with the full-back line performing heroically securing their place in the championship quarter final ATU G 0-15 to  ATU S 0-14 victory.

Alex Keane scored with excellence, splitting the posts from all angles and scoring an impressive four points from two two pointers outside the 40m arc .
Also a highlight was the marvellous performance of Dylan Toner and Paul McGee.

A durable performance from the 20 man travelling squad lead by student management (Ronan Riddle, Jamie Malone, Dylan Wallace) which now sees them on a fast turn around this Thur. Mar 5th away at Q/F stage to DCU at 7.35pm .
