Fitzgibbon Relegation

ATU Fitzgibbon Team were up against a tough test against TUS Midwest. From the first whistle, ATU showed plenty of heart and never backed down from the challenge.
The lads worked hard all over the field, battling for every ball and standing up well physically throughout the game. Even when things got difficult, the effort and commitment never dropped.
While the game ended in a loss for ATU, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, especially the team spirit and togetherness on show. The final score saw ATU finish on 2:08, with TUS Midwest on 0:17.

Excellent performances from Eoin Cooley in all x3 games at this top level of hurling. Evan Kennedy is another hurler of note emerging. Joint captains Dylan Dunne / Robbie Meehan were so loyal in this campaign never failing to turn out and on pitch leaders as well. Darragh Donohue has the ability to play at the top level blessed with skill and pace. James Downey was the find of the year so reliable in defense and so accomplished as a hurler. Paddy Cummins of Gort is another exceptional hurler and can go places if he decides, amazing wrists and vision. Conor Dolphin another who commit's to sessions and a serious forward when injury free.

Thanking all for their commitment in the harshest of nights .
