Fantastic win by our camogie team last night in Mellows against TUS MW winning on a score line of 6.06 to 2.14 .Next league game in 2 weeks against ATU Sligo .Best performers on the night were Shona mason our goalkeeper, Ave Lynskey showed enormous energy throughout and was assisted by Sarah Coleman up front. Sive Byrne at midfield was terrific all through chipping in with points from distance. Therese Marie at 6 played her heart out as did maria and Ailbhe in defense ably assisted by Tara Doran at 5. A terrific first outing . Onwards and Upwards Ladies . Looking forward to another successful year .

Match Report:

ATU Galway vs TUS Limerick (Camogie) . ATU hosted TUS in a thrilling encounter on Tuesday night, producing an impressive team performance to claim a 6-06 to 2-14 victory. ATUG wonderfully, dominating the opening half and building a commanding 5-04 to 1-05 lead for the whistle at half-time. The women showed great energy and sharpness in attack, particularly in front of goal.

TUS Limerick rallied in the second half, narrowing the gap with some fine point-taking, but ATU’s determination saw them hold firm to the final whistle.

It was a well-deserved win for ATU, who continue to grow in confidence as the season progresses.

There was many key players on the night including Saoirse Delaney, Róisín McNamee, Sive Byrne and Ava Lynskey worked well with Sarah Coleman.

The girls are out in just two weeks time against ATU Sligo. It’s onwards and upwards from here for our Camogie crew.
